Who We Are

The Bark River Woods Historical Society was organized in 1976 as a Bicentennial project by a group of ten of Hebron Township's dedicated citizens. As the Society grew, Cold Spring Township was included, the reason being that the original Bark River Township was comprised of parts of what are now Hebron & Cold Spring Townships.

Our purpose is to educate today's generation about the past and to preserve local history for future generations.
